Ohau Gravels Sauvignon Blanc 2009

A Sauvignon Blanc from an unknown winemaking region that shows great promise.

The delicate passion fruit and mineral chalkiness will leave traditional Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc lovers at a loss. What this wine offers is a layered complexity that combines fruit and texture. More Martinborough than Marlborough in its style but has an air of intrigue for the more discerning palate.

This wine has great length and body and one will be rewarded by cellaring this wine for the next 2-5 years.

89 Points RRP $20
